Ally Capellino and Brompton Bikes Unveil Limited Edition Frank Backpack Collaboration
Nov 13, 2024
Ally Capellino has teamed up with British folding bike pioneers Brompton Bikes to release a special edition Frank backpack. With a shared enthusiasm for innovation and practical design, the partnership showcases the craftsmanship and playful creativity of both brands. A must-have for urban cyclists with style, the collaboration also includes a handy musette cross body bag, packed with all the detail expected from Ally Capellino.
“I am super proud to collaborate with Brompton – makers of the coolest bike around.” - Ally
The Frank backpack and musette come in an olive green and feature a lively contrasting green zip and logo, perfect for enhanced visibility on winter commutes. Designed for seamless connection with Brompton’s folding bikes, the Frank backpack securely clips onto the front of the bike and detaches with ease, adding versatility to the iconic backpack.
Specialised Classic Design
The Frank backpack features a sturdy, integrated frame, and a protective base that maintains its shape when on the bike, but is equally comfortable when worn on the back. The Frank’s timeless look is uncompromised, and the frame is removeable for non-cycling days. With a generous 20 litre capacity, this bag is designed to carry all the essentials needed for a busy day. It features two large signature pockets on the front with Italian leather buckle up straps and external side pockets for bottles — every detail expected from an Ally Capellino design classic. Additionally, a dedicated laptop sleeve and an extra zip pocket inside provide organized storage for tech and smaller belongings. The musette shoulder bag also features the buckled front pocket and a magnetic-close back pocket, perfect for a quicker trip around the city.
“I’ve been cycling to the shop in Shoreditch a couple of times a week with the bag up front, I love that it keeps looking ahead when I go round corners”
A Collaboration Rooted in Shared Values of Sustainability
This partnership celebrates the shared values of Ally Capellino and Brompton Bikes: quality, utility, and a deep commitment to urban mobility and sustainability. Both brands have long embraced sustainable practices — Ally Capellino through eco-conscious sourcing and enduring, long-lasting design, and Brompton through its promotion of cycling as green alternative transportation and commitment to carbon reduction. This collaboration is a testament to their joint mission of reducing environmental impact while delivering functional and stylish products that endure.
“We have been producing bags for cyclists for some years, but this one is different and specifically for a Brompton.”
